Revenues Expected to Exceed Expenditures by Dh30 Billion
Dubai has approved its 2025-2027 government budget, achieving record-breaking revenues of Dh302 billion and expenditures of Dh272 billion — marking the largest budget in the emirate's history. The budget was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who announced it on social media.
“A substantial 46% of next year’s budget is allocated to major infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, energy, and water drainage networks, along with the construction of a new airport. Additionally, 30% of the budget is dedicated to health, education, social development, housing, and essential community services,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
This budget underscores Dubai’s commitment to enhancing resident well-being. "Next year’s budget will achieve an operating surplus of 21% of total revenues for the first time, aiming to establish long-term financial sustainability for Dubai,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
