Sobha Realty has partnered with Umm Al Quwain Properties to revitalise the oldest pearl town in the Gulf as a sustainable luxury waterfront community on Al Siniya Island
Sobha Realty, a leading developer of luxury residential properties in the region, has announced plans to build its latest real estate project on Al Siniya Island in Umm Al Quwain.
The development was unveiled through a partnership agreement between Sobha Realty and Umm Al Quwain Properties, witnessed by Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, at a signing ceremony earlier this week.
“We are thrilled to unveil our latest project, Sobha Siniya Island, which is poised to offer residents a unique lifestyle amidst the natural beauty of Umm Al Quwain,” said Ravi Menon, Co-chairman of Sobha Group.
“The project will combine luxury living with the peaceful environment of the island, surrounded by tranquil blue waters of the Gulf, and lush, non-polluted landscapes. Siniya Island presents an exceptional opportunity for residents to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle with modern amenities and efficient solutions,” he added.
Located minutes away from Al Marjan Island, the project will offer seamless connectivity through a motorable causeway bridge. It will also facilitate accessibility through marine travel along the coast of the Gulf.
Luxury Living at Focus
The Al Siniya Island project aims to offer residents an ultra-luxury living experience amidst nature and eco-friendly amenities. Surrounded by Umm Al Quwain’s natural mangroves, the development will feature a wide range of amenities, including a family golf course, floating pavilion, event halls, and a helix bridge.
Families can look forward to an eco-friendly park and play zone, access to beautiful manmade and natural beaches, and leisurely strolls around a mangrove and tide trail. The project will also offer private waterfront neighborhoods, peaceful community living, and designated zones for non-motorised and motorised water vehicles.
Focus on Biodiversity and Historical Preservation
As the oldest pearl town in the Gulf, the project will prioritise the preservation of natural wildlife and archaeological sites. This comes as the Umm Al Quwain government continues its dedication to fostering sustainable developments that enable it to preserve natural heritage while promoting growth.
The island boasts strong biodiversity with varied flora and fauna, dense mangroves and healthy wildlife and sea life. It is home to mudflats, salt marshes, and natural rock edges, along with archaeological sites, including a sixth-century monastery and stone circles.
“This project is a testament to Sobha Realty’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and luxury,” said PNC Menon, Chairman and Founder of Sobha Group.
“We are honoured to collaborate with the Umm Al Quwain government on this significant project, which will set a new benchmark in the luxury real estate market while promising a distinctive and serene lifestyle for its residents.”
The Sobha Siniya Island project is expected to be completed in phases over the next few years, with the first phase set to be delivered by 2025. The project is expected to contribute significantly to the growth and development of Umm Al Quwain. The project cost, the number of residential units, and other details have not been revealed.
